Job Overview
Main Job Purpose
Oversees management of areas under his/her responsibility in order to produce the company’s products and direct activities so that approved products are manufactured and delivered on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.Supervise 5 direct reports Production Manager, Logistics Manager, Production Planning, Engineering and Building & EHS Coordinator.
Principal Accountabilities Production Operations
Manages the operations of the production area to ensure that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved.
Ensure the corresponding moving of necessary production tools and equipment.
Ensures physical and workforce resources are adequate to meet the organization’s production schedule and results.
Direct the activities of production personnel including workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
Logistic Activities
Ensures the production short, mid and long term planning, programs and objectives.
Direct the Logistic department to ensure deliveries to our customers in cost and timely manner.
Ensure Logistic cost and expenses under the planed budget.
Production Planning Engineering
Support production engineering department in develop and implement production processes according the technical requirements of our products and achieving the cost allocated in the budget.
Define and support priorities within the different projects and current products running in the production floor.
Assure the capability and capacity of production tools for current and new products.
Building & Safety Activities
Support and sponsor all safety activities within the organization.
Act as communication channel to promote the safety initiatives and projects with the upper management and all production areas.
Define priorities and budget for building modifications and activities
Ensure legal compliance in Building and Safety matters.
Manufacturing Strategic Activities
Provides leadership and technical knowledge to areas under his/her responsibility.
Determines development and training needs for employee in areas of responsibilities.
Support manufacturing initiatives process development, tooling and manufacturing strategy.
Define yearly Budget and Forecast for Manufacturing activities.
Job Scope
The job requires team work with many other departments within the company, locally and internationally, especially manufacturing areas to establish and maintain the production requirements..
Preferred Background and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Master Degree (preferable)
+15 years Production management and processes related experience
Experience with Injection Molding, Progressive Die Stamping, and small part assembly.
Strong experience with Cost Structures, Analysis and Planning
Logistic Management, Inventory Cycles, Warehouse Management, Logistics Planning
Experience with SAP Production and Logistic Modules
Knowledge of problem solving tools such as 5 why’s, 8D and Shainin
Microsoft toos, Out look, Excel and power point.
