Job Overview

This is the opportunity for an ambitious Senior Product Line Manager / Business Development Manager / Product Strategy Manager to drive the growth of the entire portfolio of products and have an immediate impact on the growth of the company. The successful candidate is intellectually agile and jumps from detailed financial analysis to high level strategic plan, tactical new products execution, team priority settings and collaboration with suppliers, customers, internal functions, and C-level executives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • The position reports to the Vice President of Global Product Management. It is responsible for the development of the rolling 3-year roadmap that supports the growth and business goals of the company
  • Develop, define, and manage the product strategy, including roadmaps for all existing and new product lines.
  • Assess the fit of new technologies and products to the Infinite business model.
  • Assist in the elaboration and approval of the annual plan.
  • Identify, and evaluate new technologies and product lines to achieve the appropriate balance between Technology Strategies and maximizing revenue growth.
  • Lead, assess and develop team members and assign tasks and activities to maximize their outputs and reach objectives.
  • Proactively drive the high-intensity new products release pipeline for new product lines.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor pricing strategies for new products being added to the company’s portfolio.
  • Evaluate business cases and purchasing packages, assess market size, competitors, and their share, assess benefits to Infinite.
  • Identify market needs and trends through interaction with customers, suppliers, and industry experts, analyze and monitor publicly known information, and attend industry events and trade shows as required.
  • Compile and analyze data in the form of market research, supplier data, and internal teams to support the addition of new products.
  • Work with sales in developing strategies to successfully expand the company’s product offering to win future opportunities.
  • Build relationships with suppliers, internal sales teams and mergers and acquisitions team.
  • Provide regular updates to Executive Leadership Team regarding product strategy, roadmap development and new technology opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • 20+ years of working experience in Product Management, including team management, with previous roles in Business Development, Sales or Engineering related to new products, sold in various markets and applications.
  • Established relations with key players (companies and individual) in the strategic growth markets.
  • In-depth understanding of the industry landscape, dynamics, value chain, pricing structures, technology and product trends related to Infinite Electronics.
  • Documented success with the development and execution of new product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to create and present complex business cases to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated history of commercial success with business generated by existing products and new product introduction.
  • Strong understanding of financial models, market-based pricing, roadmap development and stage gate process.
  • MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook) proficiency.

Preferred Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Engineering.
  • MBA.
  • High level of comfort with online marketing and ecommerce.
  • Experience in the private labelling of B-to-B products.
  • Database management tools proficiency.
  • Negotiation of supplier agreement.
  • Exposure to availability model.
  • Smartsheet proficiency.
